Wanying Wu

Wanying Wu is a Senior Analyst in Private Markets Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI), where she focuses on the research, origination and development of products related to Private Markets. In this role, she works closely with the Sales, Marketing and Research & Development teams to introduce new concepts to the market and support their commercial success. She has also conducted in-depth relevant regulations and explored various product wrappers to support product innovation. Prior to this, Wanying gained experience working on thematic strategies and sustainability indices.

Before joining S&P DJI, Wanying was at Deloitte, where she delivered sustainable finance and quantitative modeling consulting projects for clients in the financial services sector. Her responsibilities included producing reports grounded in quantitative financial analysis, assisting clients with investment performance measurement and disclosure challenges, and leading a team in developing innovative features for sustainability solutions.

Wanying holds a master’s degree in business analytics from University College London (UCL). She is also a CFA charterholder.
