Manuel González
Senior Director, Client Coverage Latin America, North Cone
Manuel González is Senior Director, Client Coverage at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) for the northern cone of Latin America. With more than 30 years of experience in financial markets, Manuel heads up business activities in the region, with the goal of promoting the use of indices as benchmarks or with financial products. Manuel has also worked in the development of partnerships with stock exchanges in the region. He has played a key role developing the business in LatAm and Spain for S&P DJI.
Previously, Manuel worked as International Director at Proveedor Integral de Precios (PiP), where he was responsible for the assessment and development of business activities in Central and South America. He also worked at Merrill Lynch Mexico as Vice President of Operations, Systems and Technology, and at SD Indeval, part of BMV Group, as International Custody Director.
Manuel has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a master’s degree in senior management from IPADE.
