Ari Rajendra
Head of Private Markets Indices
Ari Rajendra is Head of Private Markets Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). He leads the development and commercialization of benchmarks that bring transparency and structure to private markets, including private equity, private credit and related asset classes.
Since joining S&P DJI in 2020, Ari has held several product leadership roles, most recently as Head of Thematic Indices, where he was responsible for developing and expanding the firm’s suite of innovative and sustainable thematic strategies.
Prior to S&P DJI, Ari spent 10 years at Deutsche Bank in London as the European lead for Delta 1 Strategy, overseeing index and custom product design, marketing and client solutions. Earlier in his career, he led European Equity Index Research at J.P. Morgan and held roles at UBS and a proprietary trading firm.
Ari holds a master’s degree in electrical and information engineering from the University of Cambridge.
