Platts has conducted a review of its US Gulf Coast waterborne middle distillates assessments and is committed to continuing to reflect conventions and practices applicable to this market. Based on a review of market feedback and subscriber comments, Platts reiterates its commitment to use the front cycle pipeline assessment as the basis to determine its waterborne assessment for diesel (ULSD), jet fuel (jet 54), and heating oil (No. 2), as it would normally, with effect from December 10, 2012. Applicable premiums or discounts for waterborne products will be added or subtracted from the primary distillate pipeline assessment. Platts invites further feedback and comments on its waterborne middle distillates assessments. Please send comments or questions to Americas_products@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
