Menatelecom Launches 50-Mbps Broadband Packages in Bahrain

Bahraini WiMAX operator Menatelecom has announced that it is offering new broadband packages, TradeArabia reports. It is offering 18 Mbps speeds for domestic users, and up to 50 Mbps for corporate customers.Significance: The operator has recently expanded its coverage in the country, which has increased its access to another 100,000 customers. The operator has expanded its retail locations, and is now operating eight stores across the country. Menatelecom chairman Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat stated: "Menatelecom has secured the confidence of customers in Bahrain and we are proud to release the latest packages that include higher speeds than ever before, as well as packages with unlimited downloads for both home and business customers."
