Asset managers are exposed to credit-related environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors through their operations and their investment portfolios. Governance factors are the most common ESG influencers of creditworthiness for asset managers we rate. Asset managers' exposure to environmental and social factors is primarily through their investments.
