Vehicles in Operation Solutions
Government sourced registration-based Vehicles in Operation information for USA and Canada as well as best-in-class Mexico VIO providing the most reliable information for North American vehicle census. Offered at a variety of geographic levels down to each block informed by real data on what the vehicles are and where they are actually residing. All North American VIO offerings are fully mapped to the ACES data standard to ease integration with existing data assets.
ACES Catalog Merge
Understanding opportunities for product at the specific unit level is invaluable in strategic planning, product management and inventory planning and deployment. ACES catalog merge provides a quick and interactive solution to understand vehicles in use for each and every part number in your catalog. Additionally by leveraging historical Vehicles in Operation data and Vehicle Miles Traveled, users can gain critical clues on how opportunity is shifting over time.
VINtelligence
Correctly identify vehicle specifications including make, year model, model, trim level, engine detail and 600 other vehicle data elements including insurance rating symbols, pre-1981 decoding, ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard) and RV Decoding. VINtelligence combines multiple data sources including decode specifications and OEM build data to provide great coverage, accuracy, and standardization for vehicles on the road. Coverage is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia and Mexico with new regions to be added in the coming years.
Plate to VIN
Flow seamlessly from a license plate number to a VIN that can then be posted to VINtelligence to decode the VIN. This service allows online aftermarket catalog tools to offer the capability to collect a plate number as a point of entry into part fitment for the specific vehicle. Plate to VIN simplifies vehicle look up for both consumers and counter people.
VINspecific
The automotive space has evolved over the past several years with new technologies, capabilities, and configurations. These changes have created challenges in accurately identifying vehicle specifications using historic VIN decoding methodologies. To address this, S&P Global Mobility has curated a set of VIN Specific (Build data, Window Sticker data) that is now mapped to the ACES standard.
Custom Take Rates
Custom take rates work in concert with VINSpecific detail to provide detail on fitment options. Custom take rates add clarity to whether features were standard, optional, included in a package or not available. Offering insight on how features are being included in the fleet provides greater clarity on the composition of the vehicle fleet.
Vehicle Miles Traveled
Data on Vehicle Miles Traveled is key for understanding vehicle usage.
