Join us for this in-person event as we discuss the future of electrification
As of mid-2022, the transition to increasingly electrified transportation in major markets is accelerating. Demand for fully battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in particular, is outstripping supply in wealthy western economies, whilst industry powerhouse China continues to see record production and sales of plug-in cars. Pro-environment sentiment is strong, charging infrastructure is being deployed at record speed and major suppliers continue to diversify and evolve their product portfolios to capitalize on the value proposition of this 'new normal'.
At this critical juncture, despite incredible progress, supply chains associated with the electric vehicle movement remain nascent and insecure. Critical raw material prices continue to fluctuate with knock-on implications to battery sourcing and vehicle list prices. Technologies remain immature, with advances in real-world range and recharging speed still insufficient in the eyes of many, whilst concerns around safety and longevity persist from the perspective of more cautious consumers. Electrified vehicles also remain fundamentally expensive, out of the reach of many consumers. How can the shift to electrification be democratized?
Please join S&P Global Mobility's Supply Chain and Technology team in-person in Paris for a morning of insight around the critical electrification subject matters of batteries, charging, propulsion, and thermal management. We will share our latest forecasts and highlights from our most recent research activities and instigate thought-provoking discussion around the needs, challenges, and potential solutions to the automotive industry in this most challenging of times.
We look forward to welcoming you!
