SMBC and Toshiba have jointly developed indices that combine SMBC’s expertise in financial markets with Toshiba’s advanced quantum-driven technologies. The SMBC/TOSHIBA Quantum Driven Diversified U.S. Equity Index leverages solutions to large-scale combinatorial optimization problems to construct well-diversified equity portfolios that are difficult to achieve using traditional methodologies. The index aims to preserve the benefits of diversification even during periods of market volatility and to contribute to effective risk mitigation.

The custom indices published in the “Client Information” section are proprietary to the client. S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC (SPDJI) is not the “Benchmark Administrator” (as defined in the International Organization of Securities Commission Principles for Financial Benchmarks of July 2013 and ESMA/EBA Principles for Benchmark Setting Processes of June 6, 2013) for such indices and SPDJI does not assume any responsibilities of a Benchmark Administrator for such indices.
