As Global Head of Channel Management, Jim is responsible for a team of business development specialists tasked with increasing demand in passive indices and expanding consumption of passive products among financial advisors, insurance companies, structured product distributors, pension plan sponsors, foundations and endowments, family offices, and investment management consultants. In his prior positions at S&P Dow Jones Indices, Jim managed global sales strategy for a team of 30 sales representatives in 14 countries, and was a fixed income product specialist.
Jim has nearly 20 years of financial experience as an investment adviser and risk manager. Jim was previously senior vice president - institutional investment management sales for Aviva Investors and a vice president of sales at Brown Brothers Harriman. In his 12-year tenure at BBH, Jim most recently led the New York-based firm's institutional investment management direct sales efforts. Prior to Brown Brothers Harriman, Jim was corporate treasurer, agency financial services at DMB&B, a leading advertising and communications agency (currently Publicis Groupe), and a senior consultant at Deloitte & Touche's Financial Services Industry Management Consulting Group.
Jim earned a bachelor’s in business administration in finance and management information systems from Fordham University and an AIMSE Marketing Investment Management certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, Aresty Institute of Executive Education, The Wharton School. Jim is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and is a participating member of the Managed Funds Association (MFA) and the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE).
