Negative actions outweighed positive actions last week although there was a drop in the default count. This week will be busy on the data front, with U.S. CPI (Tuesday) and retail sales (Wednesday) probably the standouts. However it will not just be a U.S.-centric story as U.K. inflation data will also be released alongside preliminary third-quarter GDP numbers from the EU and Japan, and October data on Chinese retail sales and industrial production.
