The macroeconomic environment over the last two years has been challenging for independent Mexican non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs). Leasing companies within the NBFI segment have found asset-backed securities transactions to be a funding alternative as these deals have maintained stable performance and credit enhancement metrics.
