Norwegian natural gas flows to Europe were down by a total of 25.9 million cu m/d Tuesday as unplanned outages continued at the Skarv gas field and Kollsnes processing plant, according to data from Norwegian gas grid operator Gassco Tuesday morning.
A compressor at the Skarv field in the north Norwegian Sea failed Friday, leading to Tuesday flows being cut by 7.4 million cu m/d.
Skarv flows are expected to be down 6.45 million cu m/d on Wednesday, Gassco said.
Flows from Kollsnes were down 18.5 million cu m/d on Tuesday, with thecsame expected on Wednesday. The outage is estimated to end Wednesday or Thursday.
The Kollsnes outage is for unplanned corrective maintenance that started on April 14.
Gassco estimated that the outage could end around April 27-29.
