Among the production units in the complex is a naphtha-fed steam cracker, which has a design production capacity of 700,000 mt/year of ethylene and 350,000 mt/year of propylene. The cracker feeds a 101,000 mt/year butadiene extraction unit.
Affected downstream derivative units at the complex include a 386,000 mt/year HDPE/LLDPE swing plant, a standalone 330,000 mt/year HDPE facility and a 340,000 mt/year polypropylene plant.
