By around midday UK time, the TTF day-ahead contract last dealt 25 euro cents higher day on day at Eur23.15/MWh, while the corresponding German GASPOOL and NetConnect contracts were up 27.5 euro cents and 30 euro cents, respectively, at Eur23.325/MWh and Eur23.40/MWh.

The UK NBP day-ahead last dealt by midday UK time 0.7 penny/therm higher at 55.8p/th.

The Troll gas field's export capacity has been reduced for three weeks by around 16 million cubic meters/day due to work on an export pipeline, according to Norwegian gas export system operator Gassco. The unplanned event began Wednesday evening.

The outage came on top of a protracted outage at the Norwegian Skarv field that has had a volumes impact of 10.9 million cu m/d since November 2 and is not expected back until November 25.

However, the Dutch and German systems remain well supplied.

"Even the combined impact of 37 million cu m/day is not a major problem in the context of the wider European market," Platts unit Bentek Energy said.

End-of-day Norwegian imports into the Netherlands are nominated at 66 million cu m, up from 53 million cu m Tuesday, while German imports from Norway are nominated fairly steady day on day at 71 million cu m, according to Bentek.

Physical flow may not match the increase if Troll problems have an effect, it said.

CustomWeather forecast temperatures in Amsterdam at 3 C above seasonal norms for Thursday and level with norms Friday, while Berlin was pegged at 1 C and 2 C above the norm for the same days.

On the curve, December TTF last dealt by midday UK time up 30 euro cents at Eur23.10/MWh, while NetConnect December was up 20 euro cents at Eur23.25/MWh.
