  • The premier conference for power investors and developers is back

S&P Global Platts Global Power Markets™ Conference consistently provides an unparalleled platform for exploring the issues crucial to the development of electric power markets.

Attend and engage with a diverse mix of hybrid utilities, independent power developers, commercial banks, private equity and infrastructure funds, analysts, lawyers, consultants, and other service providers and hear live discussions examining the latest trends in energy policy, generation development, power market investment, power finance, and power asset valuation, and A&D.

  • Pre-conference workshop designed for better decisions

Attend the pre-conference North American Natural Gas and Power Fundamentals Workshop to learn about the key aspects of natural gas production, storage, and demand impacting power investment and generation.

    This workshop is ideal for:

    • Banks and other financial institutions that provide financing for projects and need to assess risks and uncertainties in the long-range outlook for natural gas.
    • Energy end-users who need a better understanding of the market forces controlling the supply and price of natural gas.
    • Energy traders who need to anticipate where gas prices are heading before the markets react.

“As a relative newcomer to the industry, I am constantly seeking information I can use to expand my knowledge base, as well as developing a deeper understanding of the key players, their roles, their influence, industry terminology, and so on. I enjoyed meeting and speaking with those from different sectors, i.e., investment, engineering, consulting, etc. The event was very organized and professional. Thank you very much!” — 2018 Attendee
“This event is always one of the highlights of the year for me. Even more impressive than the lineup of speakers are the people who attend the conference. You learn as much from your colleagues at the event as you do from the speakers.” — 2018 Attendee
