Platts clarifies that the specifications of its HCC 64 Mid Vol Ex-Stock Jingtang assessment (AAWZP00) and HCC 64 Mid Vol CFR Jingtang Equivalent calculation (AAWZQ00) are aligned with the parameters of its seaborne Hard Coking Coal CFR China assessment (HCCCH00) and reflect the following specifications: 62% CSR, 21.5% VM, 10.5% TM, 8% ash, 0.45% sulfur, 0.06% phosphorus, 100 ddpm max fluidity, 52% vitrinite.
The specifications were updated on June 1, 2018, as stated in the following subscriber note:
At the time, based on analysis of historical data, Platts evaluated that the updated specifications did not imply a structural difference in value from the previous ones.
