From oil to metals and mining to agriculture and power and gas, sentiment among the commodities, trading and financial heavy-hitters who attended the event seemed to mirror the sunshine and fresh mountain air outside. The prevailing perception was that commodities prices have turned a corner for 2017 and, in spite of a some caveats, are now mostly on a recovery path.
