S&P Global Platts content director for EMEA metals Christopher Davis, and senior writer Robert Perkins -– just back to London from the shores of Lake Geneva -- discuss the outlook from the recent FT Commodities Global Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland. From oil to metals and mining to agriculture and power and gas, sentiment among the commodities, trading and financial heavy-hitters who attended the event seemed to mirror the sunshine and fresh mountain air outside. The prevailing perception was that commodities prices have turned a corner for 2017 and, in spite of a some caveats, are now mostly on a recovery path.
