Market sources had mixed reaction to the fire, with some saying the "plant is pretty mangled" and others saying that units are expected back up by the end of the week.

HollyFrontier said the fire was contained to the pipe rack feeding a crude unit, but market sources said the gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracking unit was also impacted.

The news caused Midwest's Group 3 ULSD to spike, traders said. The market was heard to trade as high as the NYMEX April ULSD futures contract plus 25 points/gal Wednesday morning, up from a minus 70 point/gal assessment Tuesday.
