The decrease was driven primarily by the reduction of low-marginprocessing of third-party feed at Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta facility inFinland due to the reconfiguration of Borilsk's downstream operations, thecompany said.

As a result of the reconfiguration, the Harjavalta refinery was almostfully loaded with the company's own Russian feed.

Total nickel production from the company's own Russian feed rose 7% onthe year to 210,131 mt, in line with production guidance of 206-211,000 mt.

For 2018, Norilsk reiterated its production guidance of 210-215,000 mt ofnickel from Russian feed.
