Asian Refining Summit

Date
March 14-15, 2018
City
Singapore
Venue

Preparing for the biggest change in refining history

  • The refining sector will soon experience the most dramatic regulatory change known to its history because of IMO 2020.

How to adequately prepare and continue to effectively operate, whilst remaining competitive, may inhibit healthy margins and limit demand. Getting the balance right is important. Getting it wrong could be disastrous.

Going into 2019, what does it mean for Asian and global downstream dynamics and product trade evolution. How can industry players achieve value in the midst of volatile market conditions?

Running in its 6th year, the Annual Asian Refining Summit once again sets a global agenda, gathering key industry leaders to discuss market developments affecting the downstream sector and product trading in Asia.

What to expect at our 2019 event:

  • Analyze the changing landscape of Asian refining in a global context. Assess new trade flows and the impact it will have on Asian refineries —
  • Examine the current political and regulatory areana. Evaluate the current situation, the potential future and the effect on oil
  • Scrutinize industry developments. Address how much capacity is too much and how the launch of new refineries against changing demands will drive new trade flows
  • Deep-dive into the varying transportation fuel specifications across the region and beyond, and understand what is required
  • Explore the world through our special case studies: China, India, the Middle East, Africa and the US
