  • The US crude oil market is experiencing a sea change as production and exports continue to rise. US producers will rely on export markets to find the best home for light, sweet crudes coming out of US shale plays. The 2nd Annual North American Crude Oil Exports Summit sets a unique global agenda, inviting international buyers and North American producers, midstream, and ports to examine the changing dynamics of US crude quality, connectivity, pricing, and new markets.

    This conference will examine:

    • New trade flows – Has the US found new long-term markets? How will the US export bonanza impact existing flows? Which markets will lose their share of the mix?
    • US crude quality – What do buyers outside the US want? How do they price it?
    • Connectivity – Breaking up pipeline bottlenecks, which ports will take center stage? Which ports have VLCC vessel capacity?
    • Producer positions – Will the leading basins keep producing? For how long and at what scale?
    • Refiner positions – Will they switch to lighter US crudes or continue to import sour?
    • IMO 2020 - As heavy crudes become cheaper, how will this impact light/heavy crude spreads? What impacts will IMO 2020 have on trade flows as crude economics change?
    • US pricing and arbitrage outlook
