Mustang Resources rebrands as New Energy Minerals

Mustang Resources Ltd. said Oct. 8 that it has rebranded as New Energy Minerals Ltd. to reflect its focus on vanadium and graphite exploration and mining.

The move, following approval by shareholders on Oct. 2 and registration by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission, will be immediately initiated on the Australian Securities Exchange with the new ticker NXE.

The new name and ticker are expected to be active Oct. 15.

"Given the company's rapid development of the world-class Caula vanadium-graphite project, we believe it to be an appropriate time to rebrand the company ... to accurately emphasize our focus on the new energy market and the key commodities that make energy storage and electric vehicle transportation possible," Bernard Olivier, the company's managing director, said.
