Wilderness Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Aug. 31 came to 26 thebe per share, an increase of 44.7% from 18 thebe per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 61.5 million pula, a gain of 47.1% from 41.8 million pula in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 13.1% year over year to 880.4 million pula from 778.5 million pula, and total operating expenses climbed 10.1% from the prior-year period to 765.9 million pula from 695.6 million pula.
Reported net income rose 72.2% on an annual basis to 74.8 million pula, or 32 thebe per share, from 43.4 million pula, or 19 thebe per share.
As of Oct. 27, US$1 was equivalent to 9.11 pula.
