MSG Networks buys streaming rights to local NHL telecasts

MSG Networks Inc. acquired live streaming rights to local NHL telecasts from the National Hockey League.

The deal covers digital rights to games of the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres, the company said Feb. 1.

Customers of participating operators on MSG GO, MSG Networks' live streaming and on-demand service, will be able to access a lineup of exclusive local live NHL hockey games in the coming weeks.
