Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce offering US$1.5B in senior notes

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is offering to issue and sell US$1 billion aggregate principal amount of its 3.500% senior notes, due 2023.

The bank is also offering US$500 million aggregate principal amount of its floating-rate senior notes, due 2023.

CIBC World Markets Corp., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. and UBS Securities LLC will act as representatives of several underwriters.
