U.K.-based Franklin Templeton Investment Management Ltd. named Christoph Butz director for consultant relations, effective Jan. 15, Reuters reported Feb. 21, citing the investment manager.

Butz held the same post at Aviva Plc unit Aviva Investors before joining Franklin Templeton, the newswire said.

Based in London, Butz will report to Matt Philpott, the global consultant relations director, according to the report.

Franklin Templeton is owned by U.S.-based Franklin Resources Inc.
