RPS Benefits acquires health insurance brokerage

Kansas-based insurance broker RPS Benefits Inc. has acquired Benefits By Design, Kansas City Business Journal reported.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Benefits By Design is a group medical insurance brokerage founded by Cary and Lauren Hall, who will remain with the company along with two producers and three support staff.

RPS Benefits is a subsidiary of RPS Financial Group Inc., which also owns a Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. agency and a wealth management company.
