AnalytixInsight Q1 loss narrows YOY

AnalytixInsight Inc. said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to a loss of C$305,900, compared with a loss of C$491,050 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to negative 131.9% from negative 169.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 69.2% year over year to C$490,320 from C$289,770, and total operating expenses fell 8.4% year over year to C$977,130 from C$1.1 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of C$489,440, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$785,670, or a loss of 2 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
