* CIMB Group Holdings Bhd. made changes to its management team, including appointing Ahmad Shahriman Mohd Shariff as CEO of CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd. and CEO of group Islamic banking, effective Oct. 1.
* HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. appointed Tim Evans as CEO, replacing Pham Hong Hai.
* Tan Jiong resigned as an executive director and senior executive vice president of Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd.
* Chong Hing Bank Ltd. named Woo Pak Kin Clement chief risk officer.
* HSBC Holdings PLC appointed Philip Lee vice chairman of its Southeast Asia operations, The Business Times reported, citing a statement from the group.

* China Merchants Bank Co. Ltd. poached Fan Hua from China Investment Corp., to become the chief investment officer of its wealth management subsidiary, China Securities Journal reported, citing an unnamed source. Fan was a senior executive at the sovereign wealth fund.
