Dignity PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended June 26 was 57 Great British pence per share, an increase of 42.4% from 40 pence per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £28.1 million, an increase of 42.9% from £19.7 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 19.2% on an annual basis to £158.7 million from £133.1 million, and total operating expenses rose 13.8% from the prior-year period to £100.5 million from £88.3 million.
Reported net income increased 44.6% year over year to £35.0 million, or 71 pence per share, from £24.2 million, or 49 pence per share.
