Kenyan regulator grants money manager license to Standard Investment Bank

Kenya's Capital Markets Authority-Kenya said Dec. 18 that it granted a money manager license to Standard Investment Bank Ltd. to engage in online foreign-exchange trading.

It is the first time the regulator has issued a money manager license.

Kenyan online foreign exchange broker EGM Securities Ltd was licensed in February 2018 to operate under the "non-dealing online foreign exchange trading broker" category.
