Energy Metals posts maiden uranium resource at Malawiri deposit

Energy Metals Ltd. estimated a JORC 2012-compliant maiden resource at the Malawiri deposit, part of its Ngalia Regional property in Australia's Northern Territory.

The inferred resource estimate totals 421,300 tonnes at 1,288 parts per million U3O8 for 1.20 million pounds of uranium, at a 100 ppm cutoff, according to a Dec. 14 release.

The deposit lies on granted tenement ELR41, held in a joint venture with Energy Metals holding 52.1% ownership and Northern Territory Uranium Pty. Ltd. holding 47.9%.
