Castik Capital Partners GmbH is considering selling Waterlogic in a deal that could value the U.K. water cooler company at approximately €2 billion or more, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has been tapped by the European private equity firm to help it explore options for the business, sources said.
Castik Capital has not made final decisions and could still opt to keep the business, they added.
Waterlogic was taken private by Castik for almost $200 million in 2015 and was merged with the firm's existing portfolio company Angel Springs.
A Goldman Sachs representative did not comment on the matter, a Castik representative could not immediately comment, and Waterlogic could not be reached immediately by Bloomberg.
