Aptiv completes purchase of South Korean auto parts manufacturer

Aptiv PLC announced June 14 that it completed its acquisition of South Korean car parts manufacturer Kum Co. Ltd., enhancing the U.K. firm's position in the Asia-Pacific region.

Kum specializes in connectors and cable management solutions used for vehicles' electronic components and industrial electrical equipment.

Aptiv expects the purchase to be be accretive to its EPS in 2018.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
