First National Bank of Hutchinson announces leadership changes

First National Bank of Hutchinson on Jan. 1 made several management changes.

Keith Hughes, former CEO of the Hutchinson, Kan.-based bank, was promoted to chairman. Hughes has been CEO since 2010.

The bank appointed Troy Hutton, who was most recently chief lending officer, as president and CEO.

Darrel Miller will succeed Hutton as chief lending officer and executive vice president. Miller has been with First National Bank of Hutchinson since 2018, specializing in commercial and agricultural lending.

The company also appointed Clint Shapland senior vice president with correspondent and private services. Shapland joined the bank in 2012.

R.A. Edwards, former chairman, president and CEO of the bank, as well as Greg Binns, former president and COO, will remain on the company's board. Binns will continue to be employed by the bank to focus on special projects.

First National Bank of Hutchinson is a unit of First Kansas Bancshares Inc.
