Easterly Government wraps up $213M purchase of Calif. facility

Easterly Government Properties Inc. wrapped up its purchase of the Department of Veterans Affairs' ambulatory care center in Loma Linda, Calif., for $212.5 million.

The company bought the property June 1 from Walsh Investors LLC and an affiliated party.

The new, build-to-suit 327,614-rentable-square-foot facility is fully leased to the U.S. government through May 2036 for a total initial, noncancelable lease term of 20 years.
