Campbell Snacks president steps down

Campbell Soup Co. on Jan. 7 said Carlos Abrams-Rivera will resign as executive vice president and president of Campbell Snacks, effective Feb. 1.

Abrams-Rivera informed the company of his intention to resign on Jan. 3, according to a regulatory filing.

He is leaving the food company to accept a role at another corporation and will continue to lead the snacks unit through the company's fiscal second quarter. Campbell said President and CEO Mark Clouse will then lead the snacks division until a successor has been appointed.

Campbell has launched a search for a successor.

Abrams-Rivera joined Campbell in 2015 and was appointed to his current role in April 2019.

Camden, N.J.-based Campbell completed the sale of its entire international division in December 2019.
