Kyocera closes deal to acquire 68.82% of Nihon Inter Electronics

Kyocera Corp. on Aug. 28 closed its deal to acquire 68.82% of Nihon Inter Electronics Corp. for a transaction value of ¥15.65 billion (US$129.4 million).

The company offered ¥197.00 per share for the stake.

Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. was the financial adviser for Kyocera, and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP (Japan) was the legal adviser.

Mori Hamada & Matsumoto LPC was the legal adviser for Nihon Inter Electronics.
