Sajodaerim Corp. said its first-quarter normalized net income amounted to 815.35 South Korean won per share, an increase from 308.52 won per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 4.86 billion won, a gain from 1.84 billion won in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 3.5% from 1.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 16.5% on an annual basis to 138.79 billion won from 119.18 billion won, and total operating expenses climbed 18.3% from the prior-year period to 135.52 billion won from 114.59 billion won.
Reported net income grew year over year to 6.60 billion won, or 1,107.44 won per share, from 2.37 billion won, or 398.13 won per share.
As of May 15, US$1 was equivalent to 1,083.65 South Korean won.
