Bank of Chongqing files for Shanghai IPO

Bank of Chongqing Co. Ltd. filed a prospectus with China's securities regulator for its proposed IPO of 781 million shares in Shanghai.

The Chongqing, China-based bank said June 11 that it filed the IPO application, including the prospectus, with the China Securities Regulatory Commission, which accepted it the same day. The prospectus will be made available on the CSRC's website in due course.

Earlier, the bank in April 2017 extended the validity period for its planned IPO for another 12 months, until May 25, 2018.
