Tay Ninh Cable Car Tour Q2 profit climbs 31.7% YOY

Tay Ninh Cable Car Tour Joint-stock Co. said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to 397.45 dong per share, an increase of 42.5% from 278.93 dong per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 5.08 billion dong, an increase of 31.7% from 3.86 billion dong in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 15.3% from 27.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to 33.33 billion dong from 13.91 billion dong, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to 27.68 billion dong from 10.28 billion dong.

Reported net income increased 32.7% year over year to 6.34 billion dong, or 495.60 dong per share, from 4.77 billion dong, or 344.97 dong per share.
