Daimaru Enawin Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 amounted to ¥41.99 per share, a decrease from ¥43.18 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥328.8 million, a decline from ¥338.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 6.3% from 5.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined 10.3% on an annual basis to ¥5.20 billion from ¥5.79 billion, and total operating expenses fell 11.0% on an annual basis to ¥4.69 billion from ¥5.27 billion.
Reported net income fell from the prior-year period to ¥318.0 million, or ¥40.61 per share, from ¥323.0 million, or ¥41.25 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥73.12 per share, a decrease from ¥74.79 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥572.5 million, a fall from ¥585.6 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue totaled ¥17.62 billion, compared with ¥17.68 billion in the prior year, and total operating expenses came to ¥16.75 billion, compared with ¥16.79 billion in the year-earlier period.
The company said reported net income came to ¥523.0 million, or ¥66.79 per share, in the full year, compared with ¥521.0 million, or ¥66.54 per share, the prior year.
