Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. said Aug. 27 that it has fully acquired the Gemini lithium project in Nevada after regaining its 50% stake from Kore Mining Ltd., in exchange for a cancellation of US$16,390 owed to Nevada Sunrise by Kore.
The amount was used for property maintenance fees and exploration expenses incurred on the project.
In 2015, Nevada Sunrise acquired the Gemini project by claim staking in the Lida Valley, Esmeralda County, and later on optioned 50% to Eureka Resources Inc. In 2016, the two companies entered into a joint venture agreement wherein each of them holds a 50% interest in the project.
In October 2018, Eureka Resources amalgamated with Kore.
