Molson Coors Canada Inc. said its normalized net income for the second quarter was $81.4 million, an increase of 79.4% from $45.4 million in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin increased to 14.1% from 14.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 15.6% on an annual basis to $272.6 million from $322.8 million, and total operating expenses fell 11.6% year over year to $225.7 million from $255.4 million.
Reported net income totaled $94.2 million, compared with $104.5 million in the year-earlier period.
