Cocolonet Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥50.58 per share, a decline of 36.4% from ¥79.53 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥194.4 million, a decline of 36.4% from ¥305.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 6.2% from 9.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 5.5% year over year to ¥3.15 billion from ¥3.33 billion, and total operating expenses totaled ¥2.86 billion, compared with ¥2.88 billion in the prior-year period.
Reported net income declined 36.2% year over year to ¥277.0 million, or ¥72.08 per share, from ¥434.0 million, or ¥112.93 per share.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.90.
