Stelmine stakes another gold-prospective property in Quebec's James Bay area

Stelmine Canada Ltd. said June 7 that it staked the gold-prospective Trieste property, comprising 48 continuous claims and covering an area of 24 square kilometers, in Quebec's James Bay Territory.

The company has applied by map designation with Ministere de l'Energie et Ressources du Quebec to acquire the mining claims.

Stelmine now owns six mining properties totaling 754 claims, including the Trieste property, in the area.

The company intends to undertake an airborne magnetic survey at Trieste to define new exploration targets.
