Report: Oddo BHF executive to join UniCredit's German arm

Markus Beumer, a management board member of Oddo BHF AG, will join the board of HypoVereinsbank, the German subsidiary of Italian group UniCredit SpA, Handelsblatt reported Sept. 10, citing "many sources familiar with the management move."

HypoVereinsbank's boards will still have to approve the move, financial sources told the newspaper. Beumer, who previously worked at Commerzbank, joined Oddo BHF's board in May 2017. He specializes in small and medium-sized corporate banking, the report said.

HypoVereinsbank is a trade name for UniCredit Bank AG.
