Arkansas Democrat-Gazette FCU is merging with Arkansas FCU.

The National Credit Union Administration approved the merger. The merger also needs approval from Arkansas Democrat-Gazette FCU members.

Jacksonville, Ark.-based Arkansas FCU has total assets of more than $1.2 billion and more than 108,000 members, while Little Rock, Ark.-based Arkansas Democrat-Gazette FCU has assets of $2.8 million and has more than 670 members.
