Vitasoy International Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 was 17 Hong Kong cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 19 cents per share.
EPS climbed 17.6% year over year from 14 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was HK$172.6 million, an increase of 18.1% from HK$146.2 million in the prior-year period.
Total revenue climbed 17.3% on an annual basis to HK$2.73 billion from HK$2.33 billion, and total operating expenses rose 17.5% year over year to HK$2.41 billion from HK$2.05 billion.
Reported net income rose 21.6% from the prior-year period to HK$221.6 million, or 21 cents per share, from HK$182.2 million, or 18 cents per share.
